Shift Times: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday to Friday
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers.
- Willing to work occasional weekends and extended hours during the work week as needed and be flexible to schedule changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- All finishing touches of the door, including placement of glass into the doors; cutting trim; Important to note tempered glass cannot be cut (95%) firelight can be cut.
- Operation of the Heesemann Sanding Machine. Work with cranes. Run whole doors through the sander, set-up of Heesemann machine with precision. (Fire Door 300 lbs). Vaccumm lifter on crane. Load panels manually at times 50 lbs range. Apply stains (Pat).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:
- Previous experience working with wood.
- Knowledge and ability to successful interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools; tape measure, hammer, table saw, trimmer, planer etc.
- Capable of performing repetitive, physical work.
- Must be able to lift 50 to 200 lbs. using a dual lift.
- Flexible to work in any area of the facility.
- Must be able to frequently lift to 150-200 lbs. with a dual lift – new lift assist equipment most done there.
- Most work is performed below to above shoulder level – up and extended reach.
