Responsibilites
- Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes
- Restack lumber to apply sticks between layers
- Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Ensure the exact number and type of products, within the production order, are checked and loaded correctly.
- Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the production order to ensure equipment loading is complete and correct.
- Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Operate the aligning station of the billet line, this includes verifying lumber quality at station
- Gather and empty waste into dump bins
- Manually install fasteners as per drawings
Qualifications
- Able to operate basic computer functions including software programs and applications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent in process or complete
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner when receiving or giving feedback/information, whether it is positive or constructive
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and drive a team to succeed
- Integrity, leading by example
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
