Summary of Duties:

The student reports to the Accounting Supervisor. Provides technical accounting support including account analysis and reconciliation, Federal and Provincial remittances and provides general clerical functions.

Work Performed:

  • Performs account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Prepares and distributes special reports and schedules.
  • Assists staff in other Corporate Divisions in resolving general accounting problems.
  • Checks documentation from both internal and external sources for arithmetic accuracy, completeness and compliance with Corporate policy and standards.
  • Reconciles bank accounts, with corrections and Departmental notification.
  • Performs clerical duties related to the job.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Student must be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary or graduate program of Finance, Business, Accounting, and/or a related discipline.
Must be a current student enrolled in full-time studies returning to school full-time September 2025 and/or require this placement to graduate from an academic program.

Compensation & Other Information:

$22.44/hour.

This posting is for one (1) temporary full-time up to 4 month student position (May - September 2025).

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Work Arrangement: In office.
