Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Driver on our Inter-Community Shuttle, London to St. Mary's!
Your Role:
As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations along pre-assigned routes or as requested by dispatch. This includes ensuring passenger safety, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to company policies and driving regulations.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- You have a valid B class or C class driver’s license (Class A is also acceptable if willing to upgrade to a C class)
- You have a clean drivers abstract
- You have a clear Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- You have previous experience in transportation or shuttle driving preferred.
- You have knowledge of defensive driving techniques and a commitment to safe driving
- You have strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with your community (Intermediate to advanced language skills B1 to B2 required)
- You have familiarity with London and surrounding area
- You have experience working with individuals with disabilities and operating wheelchair lifts and Q-Straint systems is an asset
- You are physical capability of assisting passengers, including lifting walkers, medical equipment, and securing wheelchairs.
- You are available to work split shifts:
- Tuesday 7:00 am to 1:15 AND 3:00pm to 6:00pm
- Wednesday 7:00am to 1:15pm AND 3:00pm to 6:00pm
- Thursday 7:00am to 1:15pm AND 3:00pm to 6:00pm
- Friday 7:00am to 1:15pm AND 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Your Location:
- Your work location will be at the Voyago Transportation main yard, 573 Admiral Court London, ON. This shuttle will start and end in LONDON.
