Location: London, Ontario (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Payroll
• Complete and maintain a full set of accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare accountant-ready trial balances and comprehensive working paper files for year-end reporting.
• Oversee and execute all aspects of payroll processing, including accurate calculation, compliance with regulations, and timely distribution.
Financial Coordination
• Coordinate and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Handle government reporting, remittances, and regulatory submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Reconcile monthly accounts and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with leadership.
HR and Finance Integration
• Serve as the central coordinator for HR and finance functions, ensuring seamless integration of payroll, accounting, and reporting processes.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to support operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in accounting or human resources; CPA designation is an asset.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and government remittance requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
