Are you a proactive leader with a knack for organization and a passion for mentoring teams? We are conducting a search for a Tool Crib Supervisor to join a dynamic and growing organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead operations in a fast-paced environment while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, direct, and mentor a team, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of tools and equipment to jobsites.
- Maintain inventory of consumables such as welding supplies and small tools.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance for equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and fleet vehicles.
- Manage costs related to rentals, trucking, and repairs.
- Communicate effectively across all company levels, vendors, and clients.
- Promote safe work practices and enforce company policies.
- Perform occasional hands-on tasks, such as painting and lifting, as needed.
- Recommend and implement policies to enhance operations and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a related field, such as industrial equipment rental, Multi Trades and/or Construction
- Strong knowledge of construction tools and processes, with an ability to support job crews effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and capable of generating reports.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Considered Assets (Not Required):
- Forklift operator certification or relevant experience.
- Familiarity with onsite construction processes and/or trucking
