What You’ll Do

 

Our Manager of Advisory Services oversees the provision of live HR advice to our clients, ensuring legislatively accurate, best practice-aligned HR advice and guidance is consistently provided in a timely manner.

 

As our Manager of Advisory Services, you will:

 

  • Receive calls and electronic inquiries from Citation Canada clients located across Canada, providing on-demand advice and guidance on all HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage the advisory team in the day-to-day-performance of their roles including weekly 1:1s, call review and feedback, team meetings, and use of employee engagement and professional development budgets.
  • Leverage personal human resources expertise and experience to provide appropriate, accurate, and professional advice on a wide range of HR topics, including accommodation, HR legislation interpretation and application, progressive discipline, terminations, employee relations, labour relations, performance management, attendance, disability management, and so on.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and interpretation of various HR-related legislation and regulations including employment standards, occupational health and safety and

Requirements

About You

 

You are a seasoned HR professional who:

 

  • Has at least 10 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Has proven experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and advising on all primary HR functions.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of all HR-related legislation and regulations, including interpretation and application.
  • Can establish rapport quickly and build lasting and trusting relationships.
  • Is focused on the customer or client experience.
  • Has strong research abilities and the desire for continuous learning.
  • Has a degree or diploma in HR, or a related field.

 

It’s a bonus if you:

 

  • Have your CHRP or CHRL designation.
  • Are bilingual in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills.
