This is an excellent opportunity for an up and coming Junior Programmer to shine and demonstrate ones knowledge of Mainframe Systems, Crystal Reports, Customization of Excel and Access desktops.  This position is now a full-time permanent position (12 month).

Working for our client in London, you will be:

·         Providing guidance and technical support to co-workers on day-to-day technical and end-user program issues

·         Developing and delivering solutions to both internal and external clients.

·         Developing, testing and implementation of mainframe and desktop user based reporting solutions.

·         Ensure accurate and timely processing of bulk system inputs.

·         Assist Operations and Workbench Solutions areas with client enquiries on reporting issues and problems, and resolving related issues/problems.

For this role you must have:

·         Diploma (or Higher) in Computer Science program

·         2 years experience with Mainframe Systems and end-user desktop tools

·         Expertise in reporting tool - Crystal Reports

·         Expertise with PC Desktop applications - Word, Access and Excel (Including macros).

·         Experience with database structures and

·         Outstanding written and verbal communications to multi-level management and clients

·         Proven skills in time and planning management, from within a pressured, multi-tasking and detail oriented environment

·         Diligence to delivering over and beyond the expected standards

If you also have some or all of the following, they would enhance your candidacy:

·         Knowledge of SAS  end-user tool

·         Knowledge of payment processes

·         Experience within a Financial environment/institution
