PURPOSE OF POSITION: 

Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing international customers in assigned territories for the purpose of positioning, marketing, promoting and ultimately selling Trojan products.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

·               Assists the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in recommending annual forecasts, goals, strategy and objectives for sales revenue in assigned territory.

·               Partners with RSM to meet if not exceed agreed upon sales targets goals (Orders, quotes, bid volumes, pricing) for assigned territory.

·               Serves as a point of contact with customers during the design phase of the Order Acquisition process – prepares specifications, proposals and quotations for consulting engineers and municipalities

·               Supplement the RSM and represent Trojan in presentations to representatives, engineering consulting firms, municipalities, and at tradeshows promoting UV processes and Trojan product lines.

·               Serves as liaison between external customers and other functional areas within Trojan throughout the design and implementation phases – ensures that technical and / or administrative matters are, from a customer perspective, seamlessly handled – ensures that the RSM is kept apprised of any potentially adverse relationship issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·            Sales experience preferred with strong technical skills

·            Superior communications and presentation skills

·            Able to travel internationally

·            Uses Voice of Customer to drive Customer Satisfaction

·            Demonstrates strategic thinking and tactical implementation capability

·            Customer Focus – Builds and sustains positive and collaborative relationships

·            Delivers results and has a sense of urgency in delivery

·            Gathers, analyzes, summarizes data in order to draw rational, fact based conclusions
