Founded in 1987, Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) is a membership-driven, not-for-profit tourism association representing Ontario’s festivals and events industry in the areas of collaborative professional development, education & training, marketing and advocacy.
The Marketing and E-Commerce Coordinator will be responsible to manage and execute all FEO marketing, communication and e-commerce initiatives including initial planning and development.
The position reports to the Executive Director and has a compensation package commensurate with experience.
FEO is located in Woodstock, a short commute from the greater London, Brantford and Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge areas.
Specific job functions are:
- Works with team to develop, implement and evaluate B2B on-line business and e-commerce sales opportunities
- Develops, implements and evaluates internal and external communications strategies
- Crafts timely industry e-newsletters, media news releases, website content updates and oversees production of the annual Conference collateral materials
- Coordinates with suppliers the annual printed Festivals & Events in Ontario and Directory of Suppliers Guides and associated online communication products
- Ensures a branded consistent message, look and feel of all communication vehicles
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education, with a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Administration and/or Communications
- Computer Science courses or equivalent knowledge and experience in B2B environment
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Proven selling and/or account management experience
- Experience and knowledge in SEO, CRM and web based development and analysis
- Experience in basic web content management administration and comfortable in overseeing a website evolutionary process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate projects within a small, working-team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and graphic design software
- Familiarity with the principle and practices of on-line marketing and e-commerce
- Not-for-profit, event and/or tourism experience an asset
