Description

We are accepting resumes for an immediate Material Handler vacancy in the London area.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
  • Efficient and safe movement of product in the warehouse.
  • Unloading and loading of trucks
  • Receiving and placement of stock, picking , packing and shipment of customer orders [includes using hand held pallet wrap machine and using steel strapping]
  • Preparing hand written and system generated carrier bill of ladings [including calling carriers to arrange pickups]
  • Operation of equipment such as: Forklift [must be certified or at min have experience, no beginners], pallet jacks, RF Inventory control units.
  • Warehouse cleanliness and clean-up
 
Key Attributes:
  • Team player
  • Forklift Experience
  • Min 3 years in a distribution environment
  • Some computer skills [Internet, Excel etc]
  • Strong customer service
  • Positive attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Work well with min supervision
  • Eager to learn new skills/responsibilities
