Inside Sales Representative

 

CoreSolutions Software Inc. develops custom software solutions and web applications. This year marks our 20th year in business, serving clients across North America. We specialize in developing vertical market software for the Education (K-12) market. The Position

We have an immediate opening for a self-motivated, goal oriented inside sales representative with a proven track record. The successful candidate must be energetic, technically competent and familiar with emerging technologies in the software sector. Experience in the education software market would be an asset.


Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing profits and growth through the direct telesales of the company’s products and services.


Responsibilities:

1) Contact prospective clients by telephone, email, direct mail and other methods as directed by the Sales department for the purpose of generating new business.

 

2)     Provide information and clearly explain to prospective clients the products and services offered by the Company for the purpose of generating new business.

 

3)     Accurately capture and qualify leads and ensure the contact management database is updated on a daily basis.

 

4)     Assist the marketing staff with the coordination and/or development of pamphlets, letters, flyers, interactive presentations, website and related publicity materials.

 

5)     Assist marketing staff to plan, prepare for and organize information seminars & other events.

 

6)   Read and understand technical and non-technical documentation as it relates to the marketing of the Company’s products and services.

 

7)     Able to meet personal and team sales goals through effective outbound calling efforts.

 

8)     Work effectively in a team environment where deadlines and estimates are achieved with minimal supervision.

 

Qualifications:

The individual must have excellent telephone skills, be self-driven, goal-oriented with a positive outlook, and have a clear focus on high quality work and business profit, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.  Also, must have one to two years experience making outbound sales calls.

 

A diploma or certificate in a marketing related discipline would be a benefit.

 

The ability to multi-task and take on new responsibilities as required are essential characteristics of the successful candidate.

 

The individual must have excellent computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows XP.
