As a result of planned expansion and international growth, we are currently looking for a person to join and grow with our MIS team. We require a self-starter who is keen to provide systems support to employees in 3 countries as well as systems integration expertise to an ever growing IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands on experience in a Microsoft networked environment
- Post secondary education within the information technology field
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- MCSA/MCSE certification would be an asset
- Proficiency with Windows 2003 - Active Directory administration
- Exposure to server virtualization (preferably VM Ware)
- Experience maintaining the following technologies:
- MS Exchange
- MS SQL Server
- Windows Server
Job Responsibilities:
- LAN monitoring
- Troubleshoot computer and telecom issues
- Provide technical advice and support to varying levels of users
- Plan and perform server and desktop hardware installations, upgrades and patch maintenance
- Plan and perform server and desktop application software installation, upgrade, patch maintenance and integration with other core systems
- Integration and support of peripheral technologies (Cell phones, PDA’s, Scanners, Printers, Blackberries, Photocopiers, etc.)
- Shared Help Desk Support
- Rotational after hours On-Call duties
- Required on occasion to work evening or weekend shifts
