Hours of Work per Week:
Daytime teaching availability required.
Part-time – Up to 6 hours per week.
Partial Load – Up to 12 hours per week.
Sessional – Up to 15 hours per week.

These are less than full-time temporary Faculty positions starting January 6, 2025, and ending April 2025.
The St. Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus is looking for qualified Part-time, Partial Load and Sessional Professors to teach courses in the Building Information Modelling and Integrated Practice program.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
A combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Architecture/Architectural Technology/Engineering or a related area with BIM knowledge and experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Architecture/Engineering or related construction discipline
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
Current knowledge and experience using BIM to deliver projects
Evidenced experience in design and project delivery using BIM methods and platforms
Intermediate to advanced REVIT knowledge
Virtual Design and Construction experience as a consultant or project manager is an asset
