Our client a well establish foundry located in London, Ontario is actively recruiting a Maintenance Leader to join a very dynamic and professional team of trades. 
 
You will be the main support for 12-15 trades overseeing the installations, repairs, preventative maintenance but your 60-day challenge is to develop a control management system to better grow the business and streamline resources and manpower. 
 
What we offer: 
  • $80,000.00-$110,000.00 annual salary

What you’ll be doing: 
  • Manage and coordinate regular maintenance activities ensuring installation and repair activities internally and with contractors. 
  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). 
  • Develop Preventative Maintenance tasks and documentation.  
  • Assist in development of CMMS program. 
  • Manage the Work Order (WO) system. 
  • Provide proactive support and solutions when required, including facility operation works in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
  • Develop clear accountability for maintenance costs combined with a strategy to manage expenditure. This includes performing root cause analysis resolving any issues that come up.
  • Manage the new machinery from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Who you are: 
  • 5 to 10 years in maintenance management in manufacturing environment.
  • Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or skilled trade certificate.  
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts, including electrical and mechanical systems. 
  • Strong understanding of maintenance policies and procedures on all manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience working in a high-growth business and interest to work in a fast-paced environment.
