Our family owned 50-year-old trusted company located in London, Ontario is looking for a versatile and dynamic Production Supervisor – Straight Nights!
This plant has, a foundry, CNC shop as well is finishing and quality. The ideal candidate would come from casting environment, but they are open minded. They have a great team and an excellent safety record!

What you’ll be doing:
- This position is working in a foundry setting with moulding, CNC and finishing all done on site a familiarity with these machines is required.
- Responsible for the coordination of daily production activities with the team to provide superior parts .
- Keep track and complete daily production reports correctly.
- Ensure equipment is working efficiently and product meets required quality standards.
- Communicates with Health and Safety manager any infractions, keeping reports and following policies, procedures, practices and legislative standards.
- Provide training, coaching and development for production team members in areas of production, job function, health and safety and record keeping.
- Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment functioning and report issues promptly.
- Keep track of material overages and shortages and coordinate with the purchasing team to keep levels at optimum levels.
- Advise and report on necessary improvements and modification of equipment and machinery to correct inconsistencies and errors.
Who you are:
- 5-10 years working in a similar role in a similar environment is ideal.
- Post secondary education in related field, mechanical or electrical engineering is an asset.
- Ability to work 11:00pm-7:00am Monday to Friday with overtime as required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
