YMCA of Southwestern Ontario was founded in 1856 and has over 200 locations from Goderich to Point Pelee, and Windsor to Woodstock. We are one of the largest not-for-profit providers of licensed child care in Canada and have over 100 school age programs across our regions. We also offer settlement services to newcomers, employment programs, mental health support, and youth programs. YMCA of Southwestern Ontario operates two overnight camps, one in Point Pelee National Park, and one on Beausoleil Island in Muskoka. We also have 15 Health & Fitness branches across Southwestern Ontario.

Position: Children's Educational Services Administrator


Licensed Child Care


Start Date: November 18, 2024

Salary: $17.50-$20.00


Location: 165 Elmwood Ave East London, Ontario

In this role, you will:
• Follow YMCA of Southwestern Ontario policy and procedures
• Act as a YMCA ambassador, demonstrating YMCA core values in your daily work
• Provide support for all inquiries at reception desk
• Answer phone and direct calls promptly
• Maintain general child care email
• Review OneList daily and provide updated reports
• Update and/or create PDF and a variety of administrative documents
• Book Community space for onsite rooms
• Order supplies and manage invoices
• Process uniforms orders for CES and complete journal entries
• Collect and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries daily
• Assisting with CES job posting
• Complete bank deposits as needed
• Support registration department with tasks as needed
• Perform other sundry duties as assigned

Education & Skills Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working with online data system
• Excellent communication, analysis and computer skills including Microsoft’s Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher and Acrobat Pro
• Well developed organization and time management skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Post secondary studies in administration an asset
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
