Our client, a leader in the automotive industry is growing and looking to add an experienced, Licensed Tool & Die Maker to their team.

•   Salary: $37.25 - $41.50 per hour (based on experience).

What You’ll Do:
•   Troubleshooting stamping presses and repair dies as needed.
•   Measuring of parts using knowledge of metric scale.
•   Welding and use of a variety of welding equipment.
•   Set up and operation of various machines including lathes, grinders and milling machines.
•   Using a hoist and/or crane to lift dies.
•   Read and interpret specification for assembly/disassembly.  
•   Clean, polish, grind, and finish dies.
•   Weld, cut and grind edges and surfaces.
•   Perform preventative maintenance on cast transfer and progressive dies.

What We’re Looking For:
•   Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.  
•   Ability to work various shifts on a rotational basis.
•   Ability to read drawings, manuals, notes and designs.
•   Exceptional knowledge of various machining and tool making equipment.
•   Experience working with progressive, and transfer presses/dies.
•   Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.  
•   Operation of overhead crane.  
•   Physically fit for heavy lifting of 50 lbs.  
•   Tool & Die Maker, COQ required.
•   1-2 years’ experience required.
