JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Infrastructure and Operations DEPARTMENT: Information Technology Services SALARY RANGE: $90,845 - $120,139 HIRING RANGE: $90,845 - $115,948 DATE OF VACANCY: December 4, 2024 APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 31, 2024 Position Summary: The Supervisor, Infrastructure and Operations, is responsible for leading and managing the planning, procurement, deployment, replacement, administration and maintenance of the board’s information technology (IT) infrastructure to support student learning and administrative operations. This role ensures optimal performance, security and availability of all technical systems and services including infrastructure investment optimization. The Supervisor, Infrastructure and Operations leads, supports, supervises and manages technical teams of staff responsible for servers, storage, telecommunications, wired and wireless networks, identity management and service desk, ensuring alignment with the board’s strategic and operational plans and goals. As a member of the department leadership team, this role participates in budget planning and procurement activities, infrastructure architecture design and planning, and works collaboratively with staff in the effective and efficient delivery of IT hardware and software services to meet student and staff needs.
