Job Description
Express SRG is recruiting for a Finance Manager for a family owned company in Exeter, ON. Reporting directly to the General Manager; this position will be responsible for the day-today operations within the department, as well as financial reporting and analysis for the company. You will provide recommendations to ownership and management for cost-efficiencies from an accounting and operations perspective.
Benefits of the role:
• Prepare budget and financial reports (monthly, annual) for internal and external parties
Provide analysis, and commentary on reports for senior management, as well as recommendations
• Interface with external auditors and accountants to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements
• Oversee banking and payroll
• Oversee the monthly preparation of accounting entries and accounts payables/receivables
• Complete/oversee the purchase of foreign currency, and assess based on business needs
• Manage small accounting team; work closely with payroll and accounting supervisor
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of senior accounting experience with some supervisory experience
• CPA or equivalent experience plus degree or diploma in Accounting
• Highly proficient in Excel
