Job Description

Eagle Circles the Nest Inc. is currently accepting applications for a 1-year contract position for a Program Manager at the male residential group home in London, Ontario.

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of adolescent youth within a residential setting. The Program Manager will be responsible for the supervision and evaluation of the overall program. They must provide support and guidance to all Child and Youth Worker staff.

Qualifications:

·         Demonstrated understanding of Child and Family Services Act

·         Experience in day-to-day operational management of Residential/Community Services, supporting individuals with complex needs

·         Sound knowledge of behaviour management procedures and protocols

·         Experience leading a team of approximately twenty (20) employees

·         Extensive experience in program planning related to staff supervision, in-service training and community referral agency liaison systems

·         Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Must be flexible and adaptable to changing needs

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral

·         Experience preparing/editing reports and supporting documentation with attention to detail

·         Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office

·         Ability to work accurately under pressure while managing multiple demands

·         Child and Youth Worker diploma or equivalent Post Secondary education in a related field

·         A minimum of three (3) years experience in residential services and two (2) years supervisory experience

·         A valid Ontario (G) Driver’s Licence, use of a reliable vehicle, current Police Records Check & Vulnerable Position Screening, Standard First Aid Certificate with C.P.R., and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (PMAB) certificate

 

Salary:       Competitive Salary

Hours of Work:       40 hours per week; Day, On-Call
