Are you looking for a THRILLING place to work that will allow you to expand your career?  Palasad is the ultra-deluxe, uniquely fun, mega-entertainment centre that happens to have a swanky bar and great food. Established in London in 1994, we serve individuals and group events from our two London locations. Palasad strives to provide a thrilling team experience for our employees who in turn thrill our guests with real-life fun and great food experiences.   Palasad’s all-in-one guest experience includes a full service casual dining restaurant with wood oven cuisine, multimedia sports bar, up to 20 lanes of upscale bowling, billiards, table tennis, karaoke, and arcade games room.

The Inside Sales Coordinator is the first point of contact for our group event and birthday guests. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sales:
o   Books parties and group events.
o   Upsells events to obtain maximum revenue.
o   Participates in outside sales events.
o   Makes outbound calls to generate group event bookings.
o   Makes outbound calls to generate birthday sales.

Guest Service
o   Provides THRILLING service to our guests at all times, both in person and on the telephone.
o   Answers questions about the facility, pricing, group events, parties, food and beverage, hours of operation, location, etc.
o   Models the Palasad vision of THRILLING guests and fellow employees.
 
Administration

o   Processes event paperwork for party hosts.
o   Processes event invoices and credit card transactions.
o   Prepares appropriate financial reports.
o   Communicates with team members at during shift and shift change over.
o   Attends staff meetings and participates in conference calls.
 
Role Specific Core Competencies
o   Writes bills for party hosts.
o   Excellent Listening and selling abilities.
o   Teamwork - coordinating activities between staff and departments.
o   Coaching and mentoring the birthday sales coordinators and event service staff.
 
Qualifications
Exceptional guest service skills and a desire to ‘thrill’ guests every time     
Ability to sell events and party packages and upsell to maximize revenue
Effective communication skills
Computer, point of sale, and basic mathematical skills
Prior experience in an inside sales environment or event planning    
College diploma    
Ability to work full time - nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled                    
Professional appearance.
