Our client a well know transportation company is looking for a Travel Agent - Bus Tours to join the team.
The ideal candidate would come from transportation or former travel agent and can be located in St. Thomas or Stratford. You will be the first point of contact for organizing tours, handling phone and online orders, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all resources are in place. If you have a TICO certification or are willing to get one, this would be ideal!

- $41,000.00 - $46,000.00 a year

What you’ll be doing:
- Manage tour bookings and insurance requests, over the phone, providing a smooth and friendly experience for clients.
- Answer all questions about tour options, pricing, and schedules, and assist clients with special requests; Provide timely information to drivers on route
- Book and confirm accommodations, meals and activities, and liaise with vendors for reliable, timely service.
- Create and maintain itineraries, aligning resources, timing, and client expectations for both local and cross-border tours. Assist in routing and scheduling of buses; assist with dispatching vehicles and drivers.
- Quickly address last-minute changes to ensure tours operate smoothly; Take all scheduling and driver issues (report to Manager/ resolve directly with customer)
Who you are:
- Post- Secondary Education in a related field with 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or High School Diploma/Equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of dispatch/ scheduling
- Strong phone communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional organization and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Ontario and U.S. travel destinations is an asset
- TICO certification or willingness to obtain it within the first few months of employment
- Previous experience in a coordinating, administrative, or customer service role, ideally in travel or events
- Ability to work as a team, providing administrative support as required
