Job Description
Our client, a well-known distribution warehouse in London, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage operations and lead an awesome team.
What We Offer:
- $60,000-70,000 per annum.
- 100% company paid benefits.
- 3 weeks vacation and 5 personal days.
- Company bonus based on profits.
What You'll Do:
- Manage layout efficiencies for easier distribution of goods and inventory control.
- Receive, ship, and replenish stock, arrange for recharge, and manage damaged goods and scrap.
- Track KPIs for reporting purposes.
- Process paperwork to stay in compliance with legislative requirements.
- Create quotes and orders and facilitate deliveries for customers in adherence to company standards.
- Customer contact and relationship building, keeping clients updated with orders, backorders, and delivery schedules.
- Manage a small team, ensuring they have the tools required to perform all responsibilities.
- Provide coaching in a professional and empathetic manner, identifying strengths and addressing gaps in training to maximize performance.
- Schedule and distribute work using company guidelines, keeping people accountable and productive. Conduct effective performance evaluations.
- Participate in recruitment & selection, training, planning and problem resolution with upper management.
- Create a safe and healthy work environment working with principles of company HR practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Candidates with Post-secondary education in Logistics will be prioritized.
- Three to six years of related experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Knowledge of logistics, MS Suite, inventory systems and exceptional customer service.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
