Job Description
IS2 London is looking to hire a Power Press Set-Up Operator to work at one of London’s most pristine Metal Stamping manufacturers. Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour + depending on experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
- Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
- Document work completed.
- Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines (Mechanical and Hydraulic presses)
- Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw, or rivet metal parts together.
- Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal.
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist.
- Troubleshoot, perform corrective action, or minor repairs.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of proven experience as a press set-up operator
- Overhead crane certification required.
- Forklift certification required.
- Experience in the following equipment/machinery: brakes, drills, hand tool, lifting devices, micrometers, overhead crane, power presses, punch presses, saws, and/or shears.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs required.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
