Business Development Marketing Assistant

The Company:

A dynamic, leading company in the supply of continuous emission monitoring systems and products for process analytics is growing aggressively and has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Marketing Assistant. Our customers cover the power generation sector and industrial groups including pulp and paper, mining and minerals, petrochemical, refining and incineration among others. The product lines include a variety of gas analyzers, sampling system components and process analyzers such as gas chromatographs and FTIR analyzers. The company specializes in systems integration.

The Position:

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement new marketing campaigns, including e-marketing, sales calls, webinars, advertisements, and other methods.
  • Create marketing plans within budget requirements and execute them.
  • Update and maintain company website and social media sites.
  • Stay current with industry trends as well as product development in the CEM industry.
  • Facilitate the collection of competitive information in order to monitor business trends and opportunities.
  • Responsible for actively ensuring the retention of the organization’s customer base which includes promoting the organization to existing customers.
  • Enter detailed communication activities in CRM and provides management updates.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommend to management adoption and/or changes to policies and guidelines to reflect circumstances within the customer service area.
  • Maintain company databases (CRM) ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain partnership relations with channel partners.
  • Provide administrative support to management and company staff.
  • Co-ordinates the organization's involvement in trade shows and training courses/seminars.
  • Conducts follow up phone calls to survey respondents.
  • Participate and provide expertise as a member of the company team.
  • Support/participate in the organization’s Quality Management System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Candidate:

  • A graduate from College or University within a Marketing or Business program or equivalent education and/or experience in Marketing and Business Development.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate across various levels and cultures.
  • Background knowledge of HTML design, E-Marketing, Google Analytics.
  • Team player with ability to work independently as needed.
  • Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated strong task management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to use initiative and good judgment in applying standard procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new programs and technology.
