YMCA of Southwestern Ontario was founded in 1856 and has over 200 locations from Goderich to Point Pelee, and Windsor to Woodstock. We are one of the largest not-for-profit providers of licensed child care in Canada and have over 100 school age programs across our regions. We also offer settlement services to newcomers, employment programs, mental health support, and youth programs. YMCA of Southwestern Ontario operates two overnight camps, one in Point Pelee National Park, and one on Beausoleil Island in Muskoka. We also have 15 Health & Fitness branches across Southwestern Ontario.

Employees and volunteers of YMCA of Southwestern Ontario are ambassadors for the Y both on and off the job. Position: Yuth Engagement & Volunteer Supervisor

Salary: $49,000 - $54,000

In this role, you will:
• Build and strengthen community partnerships, including school boards and youth serving organizations in communities across the Association
• Development, implement, and support youth programs and services across the Association
• Support and/or delivery of youth specific training, and develop ongoing training updates
• Update or create guidelines, program audits and program surveys and track the statistical information
• Apply for funding or grant opportunities related to youth and volunteer programs
• Oversee the recruitment of volunteers and students
• Ensure volunteer coordinators are effectively managing the onboarding process
• Identify opportunities within the community and Association to increase number of volunteers and students
• Develop program curriculum for youth engagement programs, incorporating volunteer placements
• Supervising full time employees
Education & Skills Qualifications:
• 3+Years of Leadership Experience
• Experience developing and managing youth programs
• Post Secondary Education in a related field (recommended)
• First Aid/ CPR Certified is an asset
• Current and acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Position Screen is a condition of employment for all staff and volunteers.
