Niagara Building Automation Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Niagara 4 Building Automation Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining advanced building automation systems utilizing the Niagara 4 platform. This position requires a solid understanding of HVAC control systems, energy management, and IoT integrations. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and sustainability of building systems, thereby enhancing occupant comfort and reducing energy consumption. Responsibilities

· Install and configure Niagara 4 building automation systems.

· Program and integrate HVAC control systems using the Niagara 4 platform.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building automation systems.

· Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.

· Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing automation systems.

· Collaborate with project managers and engineers to design automation solutions.

· Provide technical support and training for clients and team members.

Requirements

· Proven experience in building automation systems, specifically Niagara 4.

· Strong understanding of HVAC systems and energy management principles.

· Proficient in programming within Niagara N4, AX and CCT

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.

· Relevant certifications in building automation technology or related fields preferred.

Database and Graphics generation an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.50-$56.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
