Job Description
Traffic Control/Security – Temporary
Our client is looking for people to work as Traffic Controllers for a temporary assignment from September 16 to 22 in Hartland, NB. The parking lot is getting new asphalt, and the gates need to be left open. The workers will monitor those gates and only allow the company trucks in and out.
What we offer

- Work from September 16 to 22 only
- Shifts are
- 7am – 3pm,
- 3pm – 11pm
- 11pm – 7am
- 9pm – 5am
- Free WHMIS Training
- Weekly pay, every Friday
What you do
- Ensure trucks are able to exit and enter safely
- Keep watch to ensure right of way is given to incoming trucks
- Ensure only company vehicles are entering the area
- Using an intercom system and key card
- Other duties as required
Who you are
- PPE required: steel toes, vest and a hard hat – you need to have these things, they will not be provided
- Security background would be a large asset
- Must be reliable – attendance is extremely important for this job
- Attention to detail
- You are capable of standing for extended periods of time
