On behalf of our local client, IS2 Woodstock is currently recruiting a CNC Operator/Programmer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Reading blueprints, mechanical drawings and programming machine accordingly. .
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Operate the CNC machine while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspect and measure finished products.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as CNC operator
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- MasterCam and/or BobCAD CNC programming understanding/experience.
- A keen eye for detail.
- A post secondary education in general machining or engineering will be considered an asset.
Shifts: Days- 07:00 am – 3:00 pm
