YMCA of Southwestern Ontario was founded in 1856 and has over 200 locations from Goderich to Point Pelee, and Windsor to Woodstock. We are one of the largest not-for-profit providers of licensed child care in Canada and have over 100 school age programs across our regions. We also offer settlement services to newcomers, employment programs, mental health support, and youth programs. YMCA of Southwestern Ontario operates two overnight camps, one in Point Pelee National Park, and one on Beausoleil Island in Muskoka. We also have 15 Health & Fitness branches across Southwestern Ontario.

Employees and volunteers of YMCA of Southwestern Ontario are ambassadors for the Y both on and off the job. Position: CES Funding Administrator
Location: Hybrid work model
Start Date: Approximately April, 28,2025
Salary: $35,100 - $39,000

In this role, you will:
• Provide support for CES external assurance and compliance reporting (such as special purpose audits, Review engagements, Cost Reviews)
• Assist in the preparation of budget and other financial submissions being sent to municipalities
• Prepare applications and reconciliations for special funding
• Prepare and review monthly registration system (CRM) allocations for accuracy
• Monitor registration system (CRM) for accuracy and functionality for department
• Work collaboratively with the payroll department to determine and calculate any compensation outside of regular pay and report and track for funders
• Prepare the wage applications and wage and capacity reconciliations
• Review monthly wage expenses and related funding allocations and prepare required journal entries
• Compile wage and other expense data and invoice external parties as required
• Track a variety of detailed information and data and maintain accurate records
• Support appropriate allocation and recording of lump sum funding payments from municipalities (such as bulk subsidy funding received) through detailed follow-up with program leads.
• This position is a hybrid work role, with a flexible combination of work-from-home, in-person work in the London Wortley office, and occasional travel to other Y locations for in-person meetings and events as needed. Currently, this role should be prepared to work in the London Wortley office for a minimum of approximately 2 days per month.
Education & Skills Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to deal with multiple demands and deadlines
• Exceptional Excel skills and good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications, email, and internet applications
• Current and acceptable Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment for all staff and volunteers.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
