Our client an architectural supply company specializing in outdoor materials is Looking for a Plant Manager to help grow and organize the production process.

This is a small team that is growing, and they need someone to take them to the next level. They are looking for energy and willingness to take ownership of projects and communicate new strategies effectively.  This is a wonderful opportunity for someone wanting to create processes and be seen in the process. 

What we offer: 
  • Salary of $120,000.00-$130,000.00

Who you are: 
  • 5-10 years in a Supervisory or Management role in a plant environment preferably building materials i.e.: doors, windows, roofing.  
  • Experience in continuous improvement and procedure implementation, there is a lot of work to be done here so you must be someone that enjoys the talent of a new project.
  •  Experience with logistics, plant lay out and the ability to take plant improvement projects to completion. 
  • Energetic, hands-on management style and the ability to get buy in from all departments.
What you do: 
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet production goals, optimize resources, and enhance overall plant performance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including production scheduling, materials management, and quality control.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and training of staff to achieve great working relationships with all departments.
  • Manage production budgets and control costs to optimize resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure a steady and efficient flow of raw materials and components.
  • Overall running of a small plant, up to 30 people with 2 shifts. 
  • Daily production meetings to assess the productivity for the day, address safety concerns and direct daily activities to the correct persons. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers, design team and management to create a cohesive team to optimize business productivity and profits.
