Position Summary
The Production Analyst is responsible for analyzing daily operations performance, including reporting and recommending process improvements related to the operations of Ontario Plants. This position will work with several departments to identify, develop action plans and track the implementation of projects that will improve the profitability and efficiency of operations. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, an understanding of the people analytics processes that combine HR and business data, and how this information can drive higher levels of organizational performance.

Job Description/ Responsibilities
- Continually analyze key performance indicators to identify events, trends, and patterns in greenhouse workflows, operational areas of opportunity, and collaborate with Operations to resolve them.
- Responsible for gathering and analyzing data across the organization for decision making support Performs daily checks to ensure tracked data is accurate and complete
- Regularly reviews the accuracy of the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports and executes on continuous improvement opportunities
- Use visualization tools (PowerBI) to report on the - productivity results to drive clear action daily
- Thoroughly understand the capabilities of the electronic time tracking systems to improve efficiency and productivity targets
- Responsible for ensuring system is fully functioning, being developed as system upgrades may be required, and data gathering is accurately completed by trained staff
- Manage tablet inventory and security including assigning, tracking, and training users
- Provide insight, solutions to Operations Managers clearly and concisely based on data analysis
- Maintain open communication with Operational leaders to coordinate changes to: optimize performance and productivity; mitigate negative impacts to business goals; and activate business recovery plans when needed.
- Deliver presentations and reports to senior management on efficiency and productivity rates
- Take the lead in the design and development of formats and procedures for feedback on the efficiency, productivity, and individual performance of supervisors, team leaders, operators, and laborer's
- Support occasional brainstorming sessions with managers and operations team to identify project opportunities
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, digital tracking and analyzing, incentive program & others as per request by manager and/or senior management team
- Conduct statistical analysis for projects to outline and justify improvements necessary to reduce/eliminate inefficiencies within all processes for Greenhouse.
- Manage employee surveys, interviews, and gathers ideas or suggestions from team members to improve data entry and operational procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics, mathematics preferred but not essential
- 1-3 years relevant work experience
- Computer skills – Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in all other main Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and advanced Microsoft PowerBI skills
- High level of sound judgment and logical reasoning
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization
- Must demonstrate flexibility and strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently
- Ability to write comprehensive reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with LEAN (an asset)
- Ability to communicate in Spanish (an asset)
- Experience in Agriculture or Manufacturing (an asset)
Physical Location / Working Conditions
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Generally, 7am- 4p, Monday through Friday
- Ability to work holidays as required.
