Job Description
Our client is one of Canada's leading manufacturers of primary and further processed protein products for retail and foodservice customers as well as international markets.
We are hiring General Labourers at their Mitchell location, which is a Turkey processing plant. If you are comfortable with an animal processing facility, we will want to hear from you!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The General Labourer is responsible for processing, deboning, and removal of turkey bi-products and parts. You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks related to turkey processing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 3:30pm, 5:15am – 3:45pm, 10am – 8:30pm
Rate of pay - $18/hr

REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to perform repetitive tasks, hand-eye coordination, stand for extended periods, attention to details and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using a knife to support with work poultry processing related tasks
- Ability to withstand cooler temperatures
- CSA Approved Rubber Boots mandatory
- High Schol or equivalent
- Reliable transportation as public transit is not accessible
