Location: 

This position is in our Personal Support Worker Program. The successful candidate will be working with PSW students as they complete their co-op placement at a Long-Term Care facility within the city of London. The successful candidate must be a RN or RPN as well as an OCT. 

Individuals who are an RN or RPN but are not an OCT may still apply. However, those applicants would only be considered if there are no RN or RPN applicants who are also an OCT. 

The teacher is needed full-time (7.5 hours/day) from May 1 to May 14, then part-time (4.0 hours/day) from May 15 to May 22. There is the potential for four available positions.

The recruitment process may require a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons. The criminal background check must be dated November 1, 2024, or later (i.e. completed in the 6 months prior to starting work). 

Class Times:  

Morning 

(6:00am to 2:00pm  

 or 6:00am to 3:00pm) 

Afternoon   

(2:00pm to 10:00pm  

 or 3:00pm to 11:00pm) 

Rate of Pay:? 

Rate of pay is dependent on experience. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, the rate of pay is between $51.14 - $98.90 per/hour. Applicants who are not an Ontario Certified Teacher may be paid less than an Ontario Certified Teacher.
