Coordinator, Talent Development
The London Economic Development Corporation seeks a Coordinator, Talent Development. You possess a natural relationship style, thrive in a fast paced work environment, and are a consummate communicator who shares information in an open and proactive manner. You are also a skilled talent scout who enjoys the challenge of finding smart, creative individuals to join London’s growing companies. You will help develop and deliver talent acquisition services working closely and collaboratively with our client companies in key sectors and with non-profit agencies in our employment eco-system.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively promote London career opportunities in key demand sectors through a variety of channels including presentations, networking, consultations, Career and Job Fairs, on line and in social media
- Connect companies with the networks of support agencies, contacts and resources to further their workforce development.
- Coordinate training initiatives and projects to develop human resources’ best practices
- Develop and maintain data bases and information sharing initiatives
- Assist career seekers with local opportunities to facilitate successful matching
Job Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced presentation and inter-personal skills for a variety of audiences
- Knowledge of human resources and talent attraction practices, government and industry resources
- Proficiency with standard office and Client Relationship Management software
Job Qualifications
- Required-1-3years of related experience and Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent,
- Preferred –3-5 years of related experience and Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent, RPR or CHRP designation
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to perform responsibilities in evenings and weekends, when required
