As a valued member of the team, you will:
- Set up operations to precise tolerances of milling, grinding, drilling, sawing, and boring machines, as well as lathes.
- Expertly interpret product-related reference charts, tables, and blueprints to ensure accuracy in operations.
- Select and utilize mechanical measuring, checking, and layout tools and devices to maintain precision throughout the manufacturing process.
- Choose appropriate workpiece materials, cutting tools, and abrasives for metal removal operations, using both hand and power tools.
- Complete finishing and assembly operations on molds, and set up molds on presses for testing purposes.
- Manufacture component parts and assemblies, including thorough tool testing.
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds, including spotting and welding.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current and valid Moldmaker Certificate.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
