We are looking for an upbeat, customer-oriented individual who is certified as a Lifeguard to help lead our seasonal Lifeguard team this summer. Lifeguards provide vital services at Sifton’s Berkshire Club for the outdoor pool throughout the summer.

About the Role

• Responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the operation of the Outdoor Pool and providing leadership, direction and supervision to the seasonal Lifeguard team.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service and consistency to members, guests and team members. 
• Complete daily opening/closing procedures, record water tests, and ensure incidents and other related paperwork are accurately completed and forwarded to the Property Manager.
• Assist in creating and coordinating the Lifeguard weekly schedules, shift replacements and other administrative duties as requested.

Experience

•  Possess a current NL and Standard First Aid with CPR C certifications (we’ll help you get your training if needed!)
•  Prior experience as a lifeguard.
•  Thorough knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry and departmental procedures, including applicable safety regulations, is required.
•  Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
•  Must be available to work weekday, weekend and holiday shifts to meet operational needs.
•  Must be safety conscious and dependable.
