Job Description
Our client, a family-run leader in automotive accessories, is seeking an Automotive Parts Installer to load and install specialized equipment into service and work vehicles.
This is a physically demanding position, but the rewards and the room for growth are worth the effort. If you are handy or have had experience installing shelving, using tools and can read blueprints, this position is for you!
What We Offer:
- $25-35.00 an hour, depending on experience.
- Health Spending Account
- Straight days
- Permanent full-time position.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare the vehicle for installation or accessories, shelving and custom parts. Lifting, bending and repetitive movements are required.
- Ensure all fastening is accurate and all products are to blueprint specifications.
- Fill in paperwork & recording hours & vehicle information.
- Keep tools clean & organized (all tools are provided by the company).
- Work safely and accurately keep team members informed of any delays or difficulties.
- Work in a team in a respectful and professional manner, no disrespectful language will be tolerated.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to work in a shop environment.
- Safely & skillfully work with hand tools including drills, grinders etc.
- Work physically for up to 10 hours per day.
- Lift heavy products into the vehicle.
- Full G license and clean abstract.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
