Job Description
Our client a family-run vehicle accessories and equipment company is looking for an Operations Manager to take their London Ontario location to the next level.
Our client is growing and looking for a proactive operations expert who can implement streamlined processes to enhance workflow, manage client expectations effectively, and provide strong leadership across departments—setting the standard for the entire team.
What We Offer:
- $105,000 - $125,000 annually.
- Health Spending Account.
- Bonus Pay, based on profits.
- Paid vacation.
- Monday to Friday- 7AM - 5PM.
What You'll Do:
- Create and develop new business strategies to improve processes and streamline procedures.
- Create goals and objectives and take corrective action on current misalignments.
- Facilitate meetings with supervisors to resolve issues keeping continuous improvement initiatives in mind and meeting quality and service standards established by the company.
- Along with senior management, you will be involved in recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management for operations.
- Determine needs and create positive leadership to establish strong business ethics in relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Enhance and develop policies, procedures, and service systems.
- Responsible for the department budget preparation and conducting monthly financial assessments.
- Monitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitments.
- Analyze and report on the department's daily, monthly and annual key performance indicators.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints received and ensure a timely and effective solution is developed.
- Ensure facilities are clean, efficient and presentable.
What We're Looking For:
- Diploma or degree in operations management, business or a related field.
- 10 or more years of previous management experience in a specialized environment with proven leadership abilities.
- Strong focus on operations and business processes.
- Ability to identify key issues and find solutions to overcome them.
- Effective attention to detail and rigour.
- High level of integrity, confidentially and accountability.
- G license and able to travel to our install facilities or customer locations as needed.
- Experience managing multiple locations.
